+++ Jens Joneleit's latest opus at the Staatsoper Berlin in October 2010 +++
Metanoia is the title of Jens Joneleit's piece that will open the first season of the Berlin State Opera at the Schillertheater, its temporary home during the renovation of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. The opera is based on a text by René Pollesch.
On behalf of the Staatsoper, Daniel Barenboim who will conduct the Staatskapelle Berlin for Metanoia, also commissioned the orchestra piece YESH MEE'AAHIN which will be premiered on 25 October by the Staatskapelle.
